Be it remembred that Benjamine Alefounder of Debenham in the County of Suff:
Singleman, who departed this life vpon the tenth day of Aprill in the yeare of
our Lord One thousand Six hundred ninety & eight, att his dwelling howse in
Debenham aforesaid, being then did on or about the sixth day
of the said Moneth of Aprill, being then sicke, of wch sicknes hee
dyed, being of Sound minde & memory and feareing hee should dye of that
sicknes ^seriously declard his intencõn to
dispose of his estate & to make his will, and to that end did then &
there by word of Mouth make his last will nuncupative in the words following or
to the same effect in the pesence of severall witnesses who tooke
notice therof. All that I have I give to my child, And I would have her Mother
take care of it (Meaneing A girle which hee had begotten on the body of Ann
Gant of Mickfeild in Suff: wch child hee owned to be his in his life
time.) And I make her (Meaneing the said Ann Gant) ^my
Executrix: All wch or to the same effect the said Benjamin did
declare to be his will, to Mr Richard Newton Edward Kell & Mary Burnett the
Nurse who in testimony therof have sett their hands: Att wch time was also
pesent, one John Smith:
