In the name of God Amen The iiijth day of August in the yere of oure lorde god ml ccccc xj. I John Fynche of the p[ar]ishe of lynsted hole of mynde and seke of body make and ordeyne this my testament and last Wille vnto god oure blissed lady and vnto all the holy company of heaven my body to be buried in the chauncell of oure lady of lynsted aforesaid Item I gyve and bequeith vnto the hie altare therfor myn oblations and tithes necligently forgoten vjd Item I gyue and bequeath vnto the hie altare of lynto~n xd Item I bequeith to the hie altare of Morden xd Item I bequeith to the hie altare of Maydeston xd Item I bequeith to alice my Dough[ter] a Cordlett a bolster and a fetherbed Item I bequeith to the said Alice xxli sterling x marc[us] to be payed at the Day of her mariage by myn executores And the yere next aft[er] the mariage of the said Alice other x marc[us] to be paied by myn executores and the third yere other x marc[us] to be paid by myn executores in fulfyllyng of xxli of good alaufull money of england Item I gyve and bequeith vnto Elanore my dought[er] xxli of good and laufull money of england to be paid in man[ner] and forme folowing that is to say in the Day of her mariage x marks and the next yere folowing other x marks and in the next yere Which shalbe the thirde yere of her mariage other x marks so fulfyllyng of xxli Item I bequeith vnto Agnes my Dought[er] xxli of laufull money of england to be paid in forme following that is to say in the Day of her mariage x marks And yerely y[m]mediatly x marks vnto the said some of xxli sterling be fully content and paid vnto the said Agnes by myn executores Item I gyve and bequeith vnto Kat[her]ine mt dought[er] xxli sterling in man[er] and forme as is above rehersed vnto Alice Elinore and Agnes my dought[er]s to be paid to the said Kat[her]ine by myn executores the whieth money I will that it shalbe paid rerid of all my hole lands and tenements that shalbe paid vnto my doughters mariage The Residue of all my goods not bequeithed my detts and my ligacies paid I gyve and bequeith vnto Avys my Wif Whome I ordeyne and make myn executrice and Harberd my sonne to be myn other executor Item I ordeyn and make John Chilton gentilman to be ov[er]seer of this my last testament and | he to haue for his laboure 2s

This is the laste will of me John Fynche off lynsted aforesaid made the day and yere abovesaid First I will that Harberd my sonne shalhave aft[er] my discease my place called Sewars with all the lands wt other temediteas therto belonging to hym and to his heres male of his body laufully begotten And if the said Harberd my sonne deceasse wtowte heres males of his body laufully begotten then I will that the forsaid plase called Sewars with all thapp[er]tenaces remayne to Nicholas my sonne and to the heris males of his body laufully begotten And if the said Nicholas my sonne dye withoute heres male of his body laufully begotten Then I Will the plase called Sewars with thapp[ur]tennncs shall remayne to Thomas my sonne and to the heres males of his body laufully begotten And for defaute of such issue of the said Thomas I will the said place with thapp[ur]tennncs shall remayne to Alyce Agnes Elynore and Kat[her]yn my doughters equaly to be devided And eny of the said Alice Elinore Agnes and Kat[her]in to be heres vnto the other Also I wull that Avys my Wife haue my place called lunds with all the londs therto p[er]tey[n]ing t[er]me of her liff. And aft[er] the deceasse of thforesaid Avis I wull that Nicholas my sonne shalhave the foresaid place called lunds with all the londs therto belonging vnto the tyme that he entre into my londs at Romney And when the foresaid Nicholas enterth into my londs at Romney Then I wull that the foresaid place callyd lunds shalremayne vnto Harberd my sonne in fee symple Also I wull that the foresaid Avis my wif shalhave my londs and tenements lying in the p[ar]ish of Maydstone in the p[ar]ish of farle in the p[ar]ishe of lynton and in the p[ar]ishe off mardon t[er]me of her liff And aft[er] the disceace of the forsaid Avis I wull that Thomas my sonne shalhave all the forsaid londs lying in the p[ar]ishes of maydston[e] Fa[r]ley lynton and marden to hym and to his heres And if the forsaid Thomas dye within the space of xviij yeris of age than I wull aft[er] deceasse of Avis my wif I wull a prest shalbe founde the space of my yeris the first yere at lynsted the sted secunde yere at Maydston[e] the third yere at lynton for my soule my fa[thers] soule my mo[thers] soule and all cristen soules and the said prest to have for his labore for the yere x marks Item I gyve and bequeith to Nicholas my sonne all my londs tenements lying in Romney Marshe seynte Martyns at ?heve to him in fee simple Bering witnesse her of this my testament and last wille p[ro] Robert Downe Avys Fynche and other r?
