THIS   IS   THE   LAST   WILL   and   TESTAMENT of me  ROBERT  PURVIS  a Knight Bachelor at present living at Minehead Somerset & made the 6th day of May 1918  I appoint my niece Freda Kenyon Stow to be my EXECUTRIX and residuary legatee  She is to pay all my debts & funeral & testamentary expenses from my balance at my bankers the London County & Westminster Bank Blackheath  The remainder of this balance I give to my brother John Purvis now or lately of 175 West Jackson B L V D Chicago Illinois United States of America his heirs exectors administrators & assigns  I also give him his heirs executors administrators & assigns the cup which my friends T Peterborough presented to me  As residuary legatee the said Freda Kenyon Stow will have the necklace & pendant which were given to my dear wife by her Peterborough friends  In accordance with her request I give to my nephew James Peat son of Ernest Peat the watch described by her as "my grandfathers old watch" The cup necklace & pendant & the watch are with other things in my plate chest now at Hudsons Depository Hudsons Buildings Victoria Station London S.W.  WITNESS my hand the day & year above written -  ROBERT  PURVIS  - The foregoing was signed by Sir Robert Purvis as his last will & testament in the presence of us two witnesses present at the same time & we in his presence & without quitting his presence & in the presence of each other do witness & attest the same the day & year above written  - CHARLOTTE ADDICOTT - VERA M. B ADDICOTT  Fernside Minehead Somerset
  ON the 29th day of July 1920 Probate of this Will was granted to Frederica Kenyon Stow the sole executrix.

BE IT KNOWN that Sir Robert Purvis of 3 Burnham Villas Richmond in the county of Surrey Knight
died there on the 23rd day of June 1920
AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN that at the date hereunder written the last Will and Testament
of the said deceased was proved and registered in the Principal Probate Registry of His Majesty's High Court of Justice, and that administration of all the estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to Frederica Kenyon-Stow (in the Will called Freda Kenyon-Stow) of 3 Palmara Court Hove in the county of Sussex Spinster the sole executrix
named in the said Will
